The Delhi budget is being presented by finance minister Kailash Gahlot in the Delhi assembly on Wednesday. This comes a day after the ministry of home affairs (MHA) approved the Delhi government’s budget, a day after ‘stalling’ it, as alleged by the Arvind Kejriwal government. MHA had asked the National Capital government to resubmit the budget over clarifications regarding allocation of funds for infrastructure and advertisements.
The budget requires approval from the President through the Union home ministry.
