"RRR" Won the International Film of the Year award, and "The Kashmir Files" won the Best Film prize.
The Kashmir Files by Vivek Agnihotri and RRR by SS Rajamouli won the Dadasaheb International Film Festival Awards. International Film of the Year went to "RRR," and Best Film went to "The Kashmir Files."
On Twitter, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri announced the news and posted images and a video from the award event. He tweeted, "This honor is dedicated to all the victims of terrorism and to all the people of India for your blessings. #TheKashmirFiles gets the 'Best Film' award at #DadaSahebPhalkeAwards2023.
At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023, which were presented on Monday at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor triumphed. For her portrayal of the famous character Gangubai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Gangubai Kathiawadi," Alia was chosen as best actress, and Ranbir was nominated as best actor for "Brahmastra." Rishabh Shetty of "Kantara" fame was selected as the Best Promising Actor.
For "Bhediya," Varun Dhawan received the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actor. Anupam Kher's role in "The Kashmir Files" earned him the title of Most Versatile Actor. Rekha received recognition for her work in the film industry.
According to its official website, the festival strives to recognize and support emerging projects by introducing them to general audiences in order to showcase the excellence of the Indian cinema industry.
