Amity University Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is set to host a two-day international conference on “Fostering Industry-Academia Synergy for Transformative Pharma Innovations,” on March 7-8, 2025, at its state-of-the-art campus located at Devanahalli.
India’s pharmaceutical industry plays a pivotal role in global healthcare, providing affordable generic medicines essential for treating diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and cancer. While India remains a prime destination for pharmaceutical investments, the industry faces the challenge of balancing affordability with the need to strengthen research and development (R&D) capabilities.
This conference will serve as a premier global platform, bringing together pharmaceutical experts, academicians, industry leaders, and researchers to foster collaboration on pharmaceutical innovations, drug research, development, and regulatory advancements.
Important highlights include keynote addresses by renowned national and international pharma luminaries, panel discussions on emerging industry-academia collaborations, scientific presentations, poster sessions, exhibitions, specialized workshops, and networking opportunities.
Eminent pharma personalities like Dr. Montukumar M. Patel, President, PCI and Mr. Namit Joshi Chairman-Pharmexil, Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Government of India will grace the event as chief guests.
