BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today underlined Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to the cause of the Sikhs saying that the contribution of the Sikhs is unparalleled in the nation's history.
Chugh said the prime minister Modi's initiatives will go a long way to pay a humble respect to the SIKH GURUS.
Be it opening of the Karatarpur corridor or observing Bal Diwas in the honour of Guru Gobind singh ji the Modi government has been very considerate to the Sikh cause.

Chugh highlighted the special relationship’ of Prime Minister Modi with the Sikh community.
He said Modi has special regard for the Sikhs, who are brave and committed to welfare of the mankind. He said PM reveres the Sikh Gurus and has unflinching faith in Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Chugh said there is never a chance that PM Modi will not pay obeisance in any of the Sikh shrines and Gurdwaras on the occasion of Gurpurabs and special events relating to Sikh history and culture.
A Booklet “PM Modi and his Government’s Special Relationship with Sikhs” was released on this occasion. The booklet highlights the outreach programme of the Modi Government with respect to the promotion of the Sikh history, heritage and culture. While releasing the booklet, Chugh said be it the FCRA registration for Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, Tax-Free Langar, Opening of Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor and Celebration of 550th Parkash Purab of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Modi Government has committed itself for the promotion of teaching of the Guru Sahibs and celebrations of various events relating the history and culture of the Sikhs.
Accompanied by Chhina, party leaders Sushil Devgan and others he said the Centre Government is committed for the promotion of teachings of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji regarding his philosophy of Universal Brotherhood, World Peace and adaption of the path of righteousness. He narrated various other decisions and initiatives taken by the Modi Government for the Sikh Community and Punjab State.
