Quite in an exceptional atmosphere, a serving Deputy Commissioner along with Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police, two Revenue Circle Officers and one Circle Officer (Attached) today have taken part as the Resource Person cum motivator in a coaching camp. However this coaching camp was not a professional one, but organized jointly by Darrang district administration and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Mangaldai College with the praiseworthy initiative to offer guidance to the interested young generation to appear in the UPSC, APSC, SSC and other competitive examinations. The coaching camp will be continued for a three months course up to October next.
Darrang Deputy Commissioner Pranab Kumar Sarma marked the inauguration of the camp at the Science Gallary of Mangaldai College on Saturday by lighting a lamp in the traditional way. In his inaugural speech, Deputy Commissioner Sarma narrated his experience in appearing the APSC examination way back in 1992. He also interacted with the participants as the resource person.
Taking part in function as a resource person, Superintendent of Police Raj Mohan Ray advised the participants to get themselves totally prepared for hard work to achieve their goal.
Former legislator and Chairman of Assam Fisheries Development Corporation Guru Jyoti Das also addressed the function while Principal of Mangaldai College Dr Kamala Kanta Bora offered the welcome speech.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ) Pranjal Bora, Circle Officer of Mangaldai Revenue Circle Nayan Jyoti Pathak, Circle Officer (Attached) of Mangaldai Debangan Sarma and Circle Officer of Sipajhar Revenue Circle Kamaljeet Sarma taking part in the camp as Resource Person motivated and inspired the participants with their intimate interaction.
Coordinator of the Coaching Camp Rupa Rani Bhuyan and media person Bhargab Kumar Das also addressed the function with their motivational speech. Mention may be made here that a total number of 110 participants have enrolled their names in the Coaching Camp organized for the first time in Darrang district.
