UAE League: Arrival of another T20 League

Since the beginning of T20 matches in 2005, the shortest form of international cricket is getting more and more attraction and attention.

More and more Cricketing countries and their boards are launching their T20 leagues following the footsteps of IPL.

From January 2023, another International T20 league is going to begin in UAE.  The cricketing board of UAE have announced that a player might be offered around $450,000 per season (approximately Rs 3.5 CR).

South African Cricket Board has also propT20 league which is going to be launched next year as wel.

Gone are the days when cricketers were not paid handsomely.  Players are now opting to play on T20 Leagues across the globe round the clock and become rich in just a single year.

UAE International league will be the second League after IPL which will be paying a high amount of money to the players for a single season.

These types of leagues will encourage the young players to opt for Cricket as a career from their childhood.  T20 leagues and matches are encouraging other countries also to play cricket which is good for the game.

There were only a few countable countries that used to play cricket, but since the arrival of T20, the game is loved by more and more countries.

 There are many T20 leagues going on across the globe such as 

IPL, BBL, CBL, PSL, BSL, and now ILT20.  It will be too much cricket all around from 2023.

The complete UAE t20 league 2022 schedule is yet to be finalized, but it will be soon. The schedule of ILT20 will clash with other T20 leagues such as BBL and BSL.  The Pakistan Super League season 8 will also be starting from February 2023.  

In the inaugural UAE t20 league, 2022 teams will be only 6; however, the number of teams may be increased in the coming year.

 Media Rights: 

The media rights are bagged by Zee Network for 120 million USD. The Zee Network has got these rights for 10 years.
