On the eve of Dushera festival celebration at Mail Bazar on 5th October 2022 ,the local MLA Utpal Borah burnt the effigy of Ravan  who played character of Ram on that programme.He is wished for prosper and develop Gohpur .Being Dusshera celebration committee is lead by President Laxmi Bordoloi and secretary Chandan Mahanta .The respected SDO civil Dipon Barman has been supervising the entire programme of celebration.He thanked the all committee members and sub committee for completing tremendous action to make success the programme.The people of Gohpur felt happy to organise such programme at interior rural area such as Mail Bazar . The gohpurian appreciated the relentless effort of SDO civil to maintain the proper coordination for grand success of celebration.
