Today a rally was organized by Block Mission management unit,Sootea under ASRLM at Sootea Area in Biswanath District.The aim of the rally was to aware people for the successful implementation of "Har Ghar Ki Triranga" program of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The campaign 'Har Ghar Tiranga' under the aegis of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav' which will be celebrated from August 13 to August 15 in full swing to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75 years of India's independence.The rally was flag of by Palak Sarmah, BDO Sootea Development Block.ASRLM Officals, community cadre like Jeevika Sakhi, Bank Sakhi,Krishi Sakhi,Pashu Sakhi and hundreds of women member from self helf groups was participated in the event.During the rally people were also made aware of the salient features of the Flag Code of India and its amendments for initiating awareness.In order to encourage and increase participation in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and to invoke the feelings of patriotism in each citizen promoting awareness about the Indian National Flag.Meanwhile Tiranga Selling Points Opened for easy availability of the national tricolour with subsidized price.The selling points are managed by the Self- Help groups under ASRLM in Sootea.The Tiranga Selling points will be set up in all the Panchayat under Sootea Development Block and other prominent places within the next few days.
