Assam: Govt To Return Exam Fees To Unsuccessful Candidates Of Grade III & IV
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday said that the exam fees will be refunded to those students who failed to qualify for the Grade III and IV recruitment exams.
He also said that the exams are going good and nearly, 9 lakh students have appeared in the examination.
''We are trying to announce the results of the same within a month. Moreover, for those who failed the recruitment examination, the government will refund the exam fees to that candidate,'' Sarma said while speaking to the media.
About 14 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the exams which will be held on August 21, 28 and September 11 in 25 districts.
Prior to the exam, Sarma had asked the authorities to suspend mobile internet in a bid to ensure the smooth conduct of recruitment exams. He also shared the SOPs and asked the DCs to adhere to these in letter and spirit with adequate security measures.
He had also asked the Director General of Police (DGP) to deploy an officer of the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) in every district as the overall in-charge of security of all centres in the district.
