Wild elephant create havoc in Tezpur 

Tezpur  : A wild elephant creating havoc in Tezpur town on Saturday night . Wild elephant entered a house and searching in a kitchen long time . A panic situation occurred at Chanmari last night at around 1 pm .

The wild elephant  terrorised and  entered Chitralekha Park via Tezpur jahaj Ghat at 8pm. In the evening the visitors got a glimpse of wild elephant  in front of them . A noisy atmosphere. 

This was followed by the Tezpur Ganesh temple on the banks of the Brahmaputra followed by damage to an  car at tezpur ASTC bus stand and several bikes were parked . Later the wild elephant entered on a pit behind the district transport department.According to Forest officials the wild elephant coming toward kaziranga after crossing Brahmaputra river . The whole night wild elephant roaming various location in Tezpur and morning 3 pm forest official able to push back towards bank of the river Brahmaputra ,an forest official said .
