National Awards to Teachers 2022: Principal, CNS Higher Secondary School, Meenakshi Goswami among 46 teachers selected

Tezpur: Principal of Chandra Nath Sarma Higher Secondary School, located at Bihaguri in Sonitpur district, Meenakshi Goswami is one among the 46 teachers selected for the prestigious National Awards to Teachers for the year 2022 and the only awardee from the state of Assam.
President of India Draupadi Murmu will confer the awards on September 5 at a ceremony to be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of Rs. 50,000/- and a silver medal.
The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education confers the awards to the best teachers of the country to celebrate and honour the unique contribution of those teachers who through their commitment and industry have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.
