Rahul visits J&K like a royal prince without understanding problems of J&K : Chugh

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today blasted AICC leader Rahul Gandhi, who is also the leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, for raising a narrative which is not less than a canard and falsehood.

Addressing party workers, Chugh said that the BJP was already committed to restore the status of statehood to J&K but it was ridiculous to see Rahul Gandhi harping on the subject simply because he had no vision of growth and development of J&K.

Chugh said Rahul Gandhi visits J&K like a dreamland boy and fails to connect with the grassroot problems of the people.

He said Rahul should have first of all apologised for the mistakes Pt Nehru did for the people of J&K and the subsequent alliance that the Congress has built with the Pakistan ISI to create turmoil in J&K.

Chugh strongly condemned Rahul Gandhi for dancing to the tunes of Pakistan and the Abdullah family by talking of statehood.  There should have been a concern for the youth and women of J&K, but Rahul Gandhi would always fail to measure up simply because he has no idea of the problems of the people in J&K.

He has come here like a prince tourist and has delivered a speech written by the Abdullah family to please its mentors in Pakistan.

Chugh said the Modi government has shown a new sunrise to the people of J&K making the union territory a tourist capital of the country whereas Rahul Gandhi's party and the Abdullahs made it a terrorist bastion of the country.
