Rakshabandhan CELEBRATED WITH INDIAN ARMY AT INDIA -CHINA BORDER at Tawang.

Tezpur: Raksha bandhan is the festival which celebrates the bond of trust and affection of brother and sister. On this day sisters tie Rakhis on wrist of their brothers and in return the brothers promise sisters to always protect them from any evil with same feelings in their heart, and to strengthen the love and bond with Indian Army soldiers more than 70 govt. school girls tied the Rakhis to our soldiers at Tawang headquarter and Indian China Border ( BUMLA 15000 ft) with our theme "Dhaagon se Bannde Rishte", our

Indian Army soldiers also promised to ensure well being of their Rakhi sisters in the same way as they stand to protect our nation.

As we all know our nation is celebrating "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" and this feeling of patriotism was visible among our girls when they sang patriotic songs and also expressed their gratitude to Indian Army to give them the opportunity to establish the bond of trust and affection.

This is an initiative taken by our NGO The Humanity Group in collaboration with Tawang Brigade ( Ball of fire Division).

NM Bendigeri, Sena Medal and Commanding Officer , Jak Rifles for extending their full cooperation to make it happen. Our thank goes to Yeshi Kharma, Principal ,GHSS,Tawang and Mrs Deki Drema, Headmistress , Govt. Upper Primary School, Khremetheng for sending their students for the programme and lastly we are thankful to Tsering Phuntsok, Supervisor, APSTS, Tawang for providing the transportation.
