Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat Dr P Uday Praveen, IAS chaired a meeting to review the works and activities of Golaghat Municipal Board in the conference hall of the GMB office today. During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner discussed about available resources of GMB and took stock of the tax collection status, arrear, current demand and collection of last FY. The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the progress of Amrut Mission, maintenance of urban water supply scheme, present status of cleanliness drive and door to door collection, status of PMAY (U) and NULM. In the meeting the Deputy Commissioner discussed about Swacch Bharat Mission, Urban being implemented under GMB and the draft DPR prepared by DoHUA under SBM 2.O. He also requested all ward commissioners to prepare list of ward wise activities to be undertaken. The meeting was attended by Dulumoni Borbora, Chairperson, GMB, Dr Sangeeta Borthakur, EO, GMB & ADC and other concerned officials.
