Troops of Joypur Battalion under the aegis of Spear Corps organised an event in which chairs and tables were distributed to various schools in Tipong under the Margherita circle, Upper Assam.It was a unique humane initiative undertaken by Indian army to address the aspirations of students to pursue their dreams by virtue of education in an environment having good facilities.The gesture of winning hearts and minds by Battalion was taken in a high spirits by locals and promoted goodwill and faith in the security forces. More than 500 localites including students, teachers and children attended the event.
