The National Federation for New State (NFNS) on Saturday extended its full support to the demand for Garo Land and has resolved to stage a two day dharna during the winter session of the Parliament to raise the demand.

“In December coinciding with the winter session of the Parliament we will be holding a two day dharna cum meeting in Delhi and all the constituent of NFNS which includes Khasi state demand Garo land demand every other organization that is part of us will bring their delegation we will have a sizeable number and we will raise our demand in Delhi to remind the leadership about the genuine demand and constitutional and take it forward,” said NFNS president, Munish Tamang.
