The concluding ceremony of the centenary celebrations of the arrival of the Salesian Congregation in the North East India will be held on October 30.
Talking to reporters, Arch Bishop of Shillong Archdiocese, Victor Lyngdoh on Wednesday informed that the concluding ceremony will be held in 12 days from today.
He requested all the priest, religious faithful, past pupils, friends and well wishers to attend the programme in to be held at Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians at Laitumkhrah.
Lyngdoh said there will Holy Mass on this day will begin at 10am in the morning and the afternoon programme will start at 2pm.
Arch Bishop of Shillong Archdiocese further informed that Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli, the apostolic nuncio to India and Nepal will preside over the Holy Mass in the presence of Rector Major of the Salesians.
According to him, Girelli will be arrived in Shillong on October 29.
