FireCrackersBan | Environment Minister of Delhi Gopal Rai on Wednesday (September 7) said the production, sale and use of all kinds of firecrackers will be banned in New delhi till January 1.
In keeping with its order from the previous year, the Delhi Government has extended the prohibition on the production, storage, sale, and setting off of fireworks
On Twitter, Rai noted that a plan of action will be created with Delhi Police, Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), and the Revenue Department to ensure that the ban will be strictly enforced.
"This time, firecracker deliveries and sales online would both be prohibited in Delhi. Until January 1, 2023, this restriction will be in effect. With the help of the Delhi Police, DPCC, and Revenue Department, an action plan for strictly enforcing the ban will be developed" he said.
