On 25th August 2022 , A reporter of "Dainandin Barta " Nabo Kumar Deka published a news titled "Tij celebration of Gorkha women at Orang" where he made a derogatory statement that the women who come from Nepal use to celebrate the Tij festival. But all women were belonging to Routa area .The Gorkha organization and intellectuals condemned him for his reporting.And few organization made protest against him for his misguided reporting. But Later on Nabo kumar Deka apologies for his wrong reporting to Entire Gorkha society of Assam
