Debangan Sarma a state topper in Assam Land Reserve Service (ALRS) , presently serving as the attached officer at Mangaldai revenue circle office has urged upon the students to use internet effectively for their future academic career. "The internet has made information accessible for any student in any corner of the world . Now there is hardly any difference between a student of Delhi and Mangaldai so far accessibility of information based knowledge is concerned. Only thing is how we utilize the internet."
He was interacting with a group of secondary standard students as a resource person in a motivational programme at Gurukul Senior Secondary School jointly organized by the school management committee and scribe body Mangaldai Media Circle (MMC ) on Tuesday. Based on his personal experience resource person Sarma shared different tips to the students on childhood preparations for cracking competitive exams in future including overcoming conflicts with the parents over choosing a future career. National award recipient teacher Sasanka Hazarika , President of MMC Bhargab Kumar Das and Durlav Sarkar, Director of Gurukul Educational Wing also delivered motivational speech and citing several inspirational examples they explained how self confidence, dedication and smart hard work can help the students to crack any national and state level competitive exams.
The programme moderated by Subhadra Saha a faculty was also attended by the principal of the institution, Sangeeta Adhikari Sarkar office bearers of MMC, Hemanta Kumar Baruah, Mayukh Goswami, Shrawan Kumar Jha and Bijay Baruah among others
