BJP will soon launch campaign to protect farmers : Chugh
“Land pooling scheme is a Punjab loot exercise by Delhi-based AAP”
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today demanded that the Kejriwal-Bhagwant Mann duo must come clean on the charges that they have struck a a secret deal of Rs. 30,000 crore with Delhi-based realtors in the land-pooling scheme launched in Punjab recently..
Addressing a key organisational meeting of Punjab BJP in Chandigarh Chugh said the land pooling policy introduced by the Mann government a “Ponzi scheme” to loot 40,000 acres of fertile farmland and a total of 75,000 acres of land in Punjab to benefit Arvind Kejriwal and his friends.
He said under the leadership of working president Ashwani Sharma the BJP will launch a protest agitation to protect the interests of farmers.
Giving a call to the newly- appointed district president of the party to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and connect directly with the cadre. Chugh stressed the need for a strategic push to energise the BJP’s structure across Punjab.
He declared that if the AAP government does not withdraw this anti-farmer policy, BJP will take the fight to every village and town. “If needed, we will drag this issue to court. But we will not let our annadatas be robbed of their land,” Chugh asserted.
On Rahul Gandhi’s latest comments against PM Modi, Chugh said, “It has become Rahul Gandhi’s habit to speak from the script dictated by his foreign handlers. Questioning India’s armed forces and defaming the nation has become a fashion in the Congress. But this country has not forgotten that Prime Minister Modi gave Pakistan a fitting reply. The people of India will not entertain such theatrics anymore.”
