*INDIAN ARMY APPREHENDS NSCN(KYA)OGW IN SINGIBILL, SIBSAGAR DISTRICT OF ASSAM
Based on specific inputs, troops of Joypur Battalion of Red Shield Division under Spear Corps launched an operation and apprehended one NSCN(KYA) OGW in general area Singibill of Sibsagar District.
The swift action of the security forces resulted in the apprehension of the NSCN(KYA) cader who was later identified as one Hanbua Pho.
The individual was apprehended with a 9 mm cal pistol with one mag, 09 live ammunition rounds, a Samsung mob phone, an Apache bike which were recovered from the individual upon search.
The individual alongwith the war like stores has been handed over to Police for further investigation, army sources said.
