Speaking to the media, National General Secretary Tarun Chugh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his exceptional leadership in driving India’s FinTech revolution forward. He said, “The PM’s visionary approach has been instrumental in transforming the financial landscape of our nation. We are immensely grateful for his unwavering commitment to financial inclusion and innovation.”

Chugh further quoted from the Prime Minister’s speech today at the “Global Fintech Fest” in Mumbai, highlighting how FinTech has revolutionized the Indian financial system: “Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives, such as the Jan Dhan Yojana and the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), have been game-changers in democratizing financial services. The Jan Dhan Yojana has enabled over 53 crore Indians to open bank accounts in just ten years. This initiative has particularly empowered women, with over 29 crore women opening bank accounts under the scheme. The UPI has revolutionized digital payments, making 24/7 banking services accessible in every village and city across India. This innovation has not only facilitated seamless transactions but also ensured the continuity of banking services during challenging times, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Chugh said, “Prime Minister Modi’s vision has not only transformed the financial landscape of India but has also had a profound social impact. By leveraging technology, our government has created a robust ecosystem that fosters financial inclusion and enhances the ease of living for crores of people.”

Tarun Chugh concluded by saying, “Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and dedication have laid a strong foundation for a brighter, more inclusive financial future for all. Our country is grateful to Prime Minister Modi for driving India’s FinTech revolution and for his efforts in making financial services accessible to every citizen.”
