BIS Bengaluru Hosts Sangam - 78th Independence Day, Tiranga Mela at Rangoli Gardens

Bengaluru; The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Bengaluru has successfully hosted the Sangam - Tiranga Mela at Rangoli Gardens, a distinguished cultural heritage site within the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Energy and Development, Government of Karnataka. The event, held on 15/08/2024, on the occassion of 78th Independence Day . The day was marked by the participation of various artisans and flag makers who showcased Karnataka's rich cultural heritage through their stalls.

The event was themed around "Har Ghar Tiranga," and included a dedicated selfie booth to further engage the approximately 2000 attendees. This initiative highlighted BIS's commitment to promoting cultural values while ensuring quality.

Shri Ganesh V, Chief Operating Officer of Rangoli Gardens, lauded BIS for its efforts in reaching out to the public and providing a significant platform for artisans. He commended the event for successfully conveying the message of a culture enriched with quality.
