Another BRS MP BB Patil today joined BJP giving BRS yet another jolt within two days.
A two-time MP from Zaheerabad Patil expressed his confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said Telangana needs BJP to lead the state as people are disillusioned with the BRS government which is just a one family party now.
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, who is also party incharge of Telengana, today said that the BRS was a sinking ship and it has now become a BBB ( Baap, beta, bitiya) party.
He said soon many senior leaders would be deserting it to join hands with the BJP.
Yesterday BRS MP from Nagarkumool constituency Pothuganti Ramulu, had joined BJP along with three other senior BRS leaders.
Chugh said he was
confident that the welfare and development schemes taken up by the Modi government will help the BJP win all the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.
Chugh said under Modi's leadership, significant strides have been made in fighting poverty, with 14 crore poor households now having access to clean drinking water and 4 crore poor people are sleeping under solid roofs.
BRS youth leader Bharat Prasad, R Lok Nath Reddy (Chairman of District Council), Jakka Raghunandan Reddy (Director of DCCB) and Ventapalli Purushotham Reddy (Former State President Sarpanch Association, Telangana) joined the BJP in the presence of Parliamentary board Member K Lakshman, National Vice-President Smt DK Aruna, Tamil Nadu co-incharge Shri K Sudhakar Reddy, Union MoS Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar and BJP National Spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi
