The country's 76th Independence Day is being celebrated across the state. Dhakuakhana is no exception. The 76th Independence Day will be celebrated at the Dhakuakhana Public Ground. The country's Independence Day parade is being celebrated by the Assam Police personnel and students of several educational institutions. A total of 21 teams will participate in the parade. The event will be attended by more than 21 march-parch teams and the flag will be hoisted by Additional Commissioner in-charge of Dhakuakhana sub-division Arindam Baruah.
