The summer season is gradually beginning across the country. In the face of rising temperatures, Tuesday (March 11) has now become the hottest day of the season. In contrast to Najafgarh and Pitampura, where it was near 39 degrees, Delhi’s average temperature was close to 37 degrees throughout the day despite intense sunshine. The Meteorological Department has predicted that a heatwave would begin in the next few days and that the temperature will reach 40 degrees soon.

Tuesday recorded the hottest day

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was reported above normal for the first time in nearly a month. It registered 36.8 degrees, one degree higher than usual. The temperature in several parts of Delhi and the neighboring areas reached 37 to 39 degrees. Gurugram had 37.1 degrees, Jafarpur had 37.3 degrees, Mangeshpur had 37.3 degrees, Najafgarh had 38.6 degrees, Noida had 37 degrees, Pitampura had 38.8 degrees, and CWG Sports Complex had 39 degrees.

The morning temperature on Wednesday is predicted to be 18 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature throughout the day will be 37 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The seven-day prediction from IMD predicts that there will be strong, scorching winds during the day. Above 40 degrees Celsius is predicted for the daytime temperature for the following two days. Up to April 15, the weather will be clear. It will be partly overcast in Delhi NCR until April 17.
