BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the AAP government in Punjab has converted prisons into channel studios.

Taking strong exception to the manner gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has managed to give interviews to the media from the four walls of prison, Chugh said it is a pathetic narration of failure of the state government.

He said the way Lawrence Bidhnoi has been giving interviews from the Bathinda prison shows that the law and order situation in Punjab has completely collapsed.

"The prisoners are enjoying all facilities to carry on with their criminal activities and the Bhagwant Mann government has failed miserably to check it,"said the BJP leader.

He said prisons in Punjab have in fact shelter homes for criminals and it is time that the AAP government wakes up to the serious situation in the border state which has been already under pressure from the Pakistan ISI.
