Satish Kaushik, an actor, and filmmaker passed unexpectedly early on Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack, according to Anupam Kher, a close friend and professional associate. He was 66.
Kher claims that Kaushik first expressed his unease while visiting a friend in Delhi.
He urged the driver to take him to the hospital since he felt uneasy, and while on the way, he had a heart attack at around one in the morning, Kher told PTI.
Kher expressed his shock at Kaushik's abrupt death in a previous tweet.
"I am aware that the ultimate truth is death, but I never imagined having to write it about my best friend Satish Kaushik. An abrupt end to a 45-year friendship. If you were not here, Satish, life would not be the same.
Kaushik was most known for his appearances in movies like "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron," "Mr. India," "Deewana Mastana," and "Udta Punjab." He graduated from both the National School of Theatre and the Film and Television Institute of India.
On March 7 in Mumbai, renowned lyricist-author Javed Akhtar hosted the annual Holi celebrations, and Kaushik's last tweet on his official Twitter account was a collection of images from those events.
In addition to being a comedian, Kaushik was a filmmaker. "Tere Naam," starring Salman Khan, and "Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai," featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tusshar Kapoor, are two of his most well-liked productions.
The actor Kaushik will be remembered as a "gentle and sincere man" by actress Kangana Ranaut, with whom she collaborated on the next movie "Emergency".
"A very accomplished actor and director, #SatishKaushik ji was also a very lovely and sincere man; I loved working with him on Emergency. I woke up to this terrible news. He was my biggest supporter. Om Shanti, His wife, and his daughter have continued to live.
