Mawkyrwat: Sngap Syiem College, Mawkyrwat, the only college in South West Khasi Hills District established in 1985, has been accredited 'B Grade' with 2.24 CGPA by the NAAC for the 2nd Cycle on September 27, 2022.
The NAAC Peer Team Members visited Sngap Syiem College for two days on September 20&21, 2022 to reassess and reaccredit the College which was 'C Grade with 1.8 CGPA in the first cycle.
Principal of Sngap Syiem College, Dr. K.K. Nongsiej said that the college sincerely acknowledge the great contribution made by stakeholders, NEHU representatives official of RUSA cell, Parents, Alumni, NGOs, Headmen, students and staff for their tireless efforts towards this great achievement.
