Agniveer rally for Indian Army under the Agnipath scheme which is being held at Manekshaw Stadium, 58 GTC in Happy Valley.

Hundreds of mostly from Assam are here in Shillong to participate in the rally candidates from Assam. 

During the visit of Mawlynrei Khlieshnong, it was found that there are more than 1000 of candidates from Assam who are participating in the rally everyday.

It may be mentioned that the Dorbar Shnong of Mawlynrei Khlieshnong has now made an temporary arrangement for the accomodation for these candidates near the community hall.

The Dorbar Shnong took the decision after seeing the candidates are loitering around and dirtying the place everwhere.

Besides the toilet, the Dorbar Shnong has also made an arrangment a place for the candidates to take bath.

It was also witness that some of the residents are providing a space for the candidates to sleep in their corridor.
