Tezpur: Based on an input provided by Gajraj Intelligencers, Salonibari Police launched an operation and arrested one person with fake gold biscuits at Solmara Village, around one km away from Solmara Military Station . 

The arrested person was identified as Habib Ur Rahman, s/o Late Mohammad Motiz Uddin, r/o Bhaluk Jharani, Out Post Silonibari, PS Tezpur, Dist - Sonitpur. 

Habib Ur Rahman was allegedly involved in selling fake gold and duping defence personnel posted in and around Tezpur Military Station. 

 Gold biscuit weighing 215 gms and one Mobile phone were recovered from the arrested person.

 Currently, the individual is in custody of Salonibari Police for further questioning and legal proceedings, stated a press release by Lt Col A S Walia, PRO (Defence), Tezpur.
