On the 28th July 2022 , The District information and public relation department with collaboration Of District administration Biswanath has celebrated the "Patriotic Day" for the death anniversary of Reknown freedom fighter "Deshbhakta Tarun ram phukan" at Biswanth Municipal Auditorium .with pertinent of programme they have conducted an eassy competition of district level about the topic of " Deshbhakta Tarunram phukan - life and contribution ". Master Riyan Raj Bhuyan has begged the 1st prize on" A" category . Riyan is the son of Mr Bhaskar jyoti Bhuyan well known journalist of Gohpur and Mrs Punam saikia Bhuyan from Takoubari Rangajan. He is studying in class -V at Gyan Bharati senior secondary school Gohpur .He was awarded the Books and certificate with signed of DC Biswanath Munindra Nath and ADC Biswajit saikia . MR Amarjyoti Borthakur Rt professor and Mayor of Biswanath Municipallity handed over him this certificate with August presence of well known personality of Biswanth like MLA Pramod Borthakur and Educationist professor Rana Hazrika and conscious citizens of Biswanath were assembled to celebrate the programme .The people of Gohpur and organisation feel happy and wish him for his bright future.
