NCP MLA and senior leader from Garo Hills, Saleng Sangma has stressed on the need to make the elections in the state and in the country free from money even as he added that there is a group of people which demands money from candidates during elections.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday about the upcoming Assembly polls in Garo Hills, he said that it is impossible to predict the situation in Garo Hills even as he added that sometimes, people agitate over different issues but during elections they forget everything.
