BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today said the gangs have started operating in every village of Punjab and there is a complete collapse of law and order in the state.
He said the killing of a shopkeeper in Bathinda in the heart of the city reflects that the working of the state police has become a major cause of concern.
Chugh said every other day incidents of murder and looting are happening which has caused a big panic in Punjab.
Äll this is happening when the chief minister has been going around on election tourism in other states", He said adding that the chief minister being home minister of the state was completely accountable to the collapse of law and order and the way sense of insecurity has caught with the people.
He said gangsters are operating not only openly all over the state but are also working from within the jails where they are confined. "This has made a mockery of the enstire law and order system", he added.
